OAPIL to expand production capacity

Oman Aluminium Processing Company, manufacturers of aluminium rod and overhead line conductors, is planning to expand its production capacity by 75,000 metric tonnes per annum.
“The expansion will result in the company more than doubling its existing production capacity. The existing and future market base of OAPIL, coupled with OAPIL’s technological advantage indicates a significant opportunity to be tapped. The expansion project envisages to generate a number of job opportunities for locals and will contribute to the non-oil exports of the Sultanate,” said CEO Frederic Rouyer.
