Norsk Hydro: Loading of alumina at Alunorte resumes

The Pará State Environmental Secreteriate (SEMA) has reinstated Alunorte's environmental operational license for loading of alumina at its port, Vila do Conde, with effect as of 3. April 2014. This results in the resumption of loading of alumina with immediate effect.
The resumption of alumina loading is a result of a constructive process between Alunorte and SEMA.
The production of alumina at Alunorte has not been affected by the temporary halt in the port loading operations.
