NOMOQ, a can printing enterprise that has formulated its special way of digitally printing the outside of aluminium cans, has recently inaugurated its latest production facility in the UK. This unit will be responsible for carefully sourcing aluminium sheets and turning them into pre-destined aluminium packaging sizes.
The CEO of NOMOQ, Peter Stein, explained: “Following large demand for fully recyclable, lightweight and shatterproof cans from UK brands, coupled with a diverse and surging national craft beverage culture, the UK was quickly identified as an area for growth.”
“We’re excited to provide beverage producers access to high-quality cans, digitally printed with millions of colours and shades with no minimum order quantity, which supports tight cash flows or storage limitations,” Stein added.
Almost 30 new job opportunities will be rolled out once the beverage can production site is fully optimised to supply aluminium cans hovering around the 250ml or 500ml range.
The Edinburgh-based craft beer brand, Brulo can be considered the first customer for NOMOQ in the UK.
The co-founder of Brulo beer, James Brown, narrated: “Our beer is for the modern world, and therefore it needed a cutting-edge, high-quality can. Design plays a key role in the experience of craft beer, and that’s no different for us just because our beers are non-alcoholic. We were blown away by NOMOQ’s quality and creativity, which aligned with our brand values, and we can’t wait to see our relationship grow as our range develops.”
Germany-based NOMOQ excels in producing sustainable aluminium cans with high-quality printing on the outside. Being a young company in the domain, NOMOQ is on a quest to circulate its flagship aluminium solutions all around the European beverage market. Only in February did Ardagh Metal Packaging declare the acquisition of a major controlling stake in NOMOQ.
