Neo-Primitive, a unique aluminium chair fabricated by Lee Sisan in collaboration with RIMOWA, will be displayed at the 'As Seen by' exhibition in South Korea. This elegant piece of furniture is made from cast aluminium branches and grooved aluminium sheets, which are also used in RIMOWA baggage.

The chair's legs are made of tree branches taken from nature and covered in aluminium via sand casting. On top of this organic framework, aluminium sheets joined by bolts create a delicate relationship of opposing shapes and textures. With its rear branch leg protruding from behind the elaborate back sheet, the one-of-a-kind aluminium chair climbs to a height of 1.8 metres.

The aluminium throne's skeleton is made by leaning the branches against each other to support the metal sheets. Because of its tiny components, the sculpture may appear fragile or unstable at first inspection. Through this design, Lee Sisan aims to give existing materials a new lease of life, emanating a fascinating atmosphere that oscillates between natural and artificial. Lee Sisan is a designer and artist based in Seoul, South Korea.
Nonetheless, the chair serves as both a statement piece and a sturdy piece of furniture in the space. Its intriguing aspect is enhanced by the juxtaposition of materials and dynamics, which invites the daring to take a chance.
