India's state-run National Aluminium Co. Ltd. (532234.BY) has planned a capital expenditure of INR23 billion for the financial year beginning April 1, its chairman said on the ET Now television channel.
B.L. Bagra said the major chunk of investment would go to building a nuclear power generation plant in a joint venture with state-run monopoly Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd.
He added that his company is expanding the capacity of its alumina refinery in the eastern state of Orissa. He didn't give details.
