According to a report on Friday, January 10, a key partnership agreement is signed between National Aluminium Products Company (NAPCO) and Oman Aluminium Cast Company at Knowledge Oasis Muscat to advance Madayn’s overarching goal of enhancing the market of local resources and supporting indigenous industries in the Sultanate of Oman.

Under the agreement clause, Oman Aluminium Cast Company will supply NAPCO with its high-quality aluminium billets made from raw metal provided by Sohar Aluminium, and the billets will be used by NAPCO to manufacture aluminium profiles for local and international markets.
This inter-company collaboration, under the patronage of the integrated Aluminium Economic Cluster team in Suhar Industrial City, is strategically built on common objectives like boosting the national economy and local industries and improving Omani product quality to meet global standards. Generating local employment opportunities and strengthening Oman’s position as a regional leader in the aluminium industry are the other two primary goals behind this partnership.
Eng Abdullah al Mayasi, Director-General of Suhar Industrial City, has explained that this union reflects NAPCO and Oman Aluminium’s commitment and support towards Oman Vision 2040, which also encompasses the promotion of local resources and the growth of the national economy.
The Aluminium Economic Cluster team in Suhar Industrial City is overseen by the Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones (OPAZ), Public Establishment for Industrial Estates “Madayn”, National Programme for Economic Diversification “Tanwee”, National Programme for Private Sector and Foreign Trade Development “Nazdaher”, and the Industrial Innovation Academy.
