
National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) published results for the quarter ended June 2021. The company’s net profit increased by 981.97% to INR 347.48 crore in the June quarter. Net profit was INR 16.69 crore during the quarter ended June 2020.

The company reported income of INR 2506.29 crore in the quarter ended June 2021. That was up by 77.26% from INR 1413.92 crore during the quarter ended June 2020, Nalco said in a regulatory filing.
NALCO is a Navratna CPSE under Ministry of Mines. The company had posted an impressive net turnover and net profit of INR 8,869.29 crore and INR 1,299.56 crore respectively in FY20-21.
NALCO is one of the largest integrated Bauxite-Alumina-Aluminium- Power Complex in the Country. The Company has a 68.25 lakh TPA Bauxite Mine & 21.00 lakh TPA (normative capacity) Alumina Refinery located at Damanjodi in Koraput district of Odisha, and 4.60 lakh TPA Aluminium Smelter & 1200MW Captive Power Plant located at Angul, Odisha.
