NALCO Gives 2,000-Rupee Discount on Products

State-run National Aluminium Co Ltd (NALCO), India's third-largest producer of aluminium, has decided to offer a discount of 2,000 rupees per tonne across all products, a week after cutting prices by 5,000 rupees per tonne.
The company has not revised the basic prices, and has only offered a discount with immediate effect until June 30, a senior company official who did not wish to be named due to company policy told Reuters on Saturday.
Both the moves were promoted by the changes in the London Metal Exchange (LME) rates, he added.
