The aluminium flat-rolled products are produced by rolling thick aluminium between rolls that reduce the thickness, and lengthen it through hot and cold rolling processes. However, aluminium flat-rolled products can be found in several applications, including household utensils, packages, closures, building interiors & exteriors, roofs and home electric appliances.
In the first quarter of 2022 (1Q2022) the US exported 35,000 tonnes of aluminium plates, sheets and bars to Mexico, which experienced a downfall of 37,200 tonnes or 51.52 per cent Y-o-Y from 72,200 tonnes in 1Q2021. As per the USGS data, a Q-o-Q diminution of 24,500 tonnes or 58.82 per cent was recorded in 1Q2022 from 59,500 tonnes in 4Q2021.
About 25 to 35 per cent of Mexico's GDP comes from the industrial sector, which includes manufacturing, mining, oil, and gas. However, in 2022 and 2023, the GDP is expected to grow by 1.9 and 2.1 per cent. The progressive expansion of the labour market, remittances, and the rising vaccination rate will all help consumption.
In March 2022, the United States exported 12,100 tonnes of aluminium flat-rolled products to Mexico, which M-o-M hiked by 1,200 tonnes or 11 per cent from 10,900 tonnes in February. On the other hand, in February a plunge of 1,100 tonnes or 9.16 per cent was recorded from 12,000 tonnes in January.
The amount of aluminium plates, sheets and bars exported by the United States to Mexico in March 2022 settled at 37,900 tonnes, which scaled up by 4,800 tonnes or 14.50 per cent M-o-M from 33,100 tonnes in February. However, the total volume of aluminium plates, sheets and bars exported by the US to Mexico in January 2022 and February 2022 remained unchanged to close at 33,100 tonnes.

Aside from having a lengthy lifespan, aluminium construction industry goods, such as aluminium square bars or bars, maybe endlessly recycled after being disassembled without losing any fundamental characteristics or attributes. Recycled aluminium can result in significant energy savings.
