MB ALUMINA INDEX: Index falls as buyers wait for better prices

MB’s fob Australia alumina index fell to $370 per tonne on August 19, with few buyers looking for near-term material and others happy to turn down offers in anticipation of better prices. “[We've] been offered cargoes that have not been placed at this stage,” an aluminium producer said.
