LME MORNING - Metals edge up while investors track macro developments; tin, aluminium strong

Base metals continued to trend higher in LME mid-morning trading on Friday, although gains were generally modest while markets assessed yesterday’s eurozone sovereign debt discussions, although tin and aluminium rose to fresh multi-month and -week highs.
Aluminium rose to $2,590.25 per tonne this morning - its highest since July 7 - before settling at $2,582, up $42.
