
On Wednesday, July 19, the LME aluminium cash bid price stopped at US$2,141.50 per tonne, shrinking by US$27 per tonne or 1.24 per cent, and LME official settlement price settled at US$2,142 per tonne, with a fall of US$27.50 per tonne or 1.27 per cent.
The LME benchmark price on July 12 was US$2,147.50 per tonne, which plunged by US$5.50 per tonne or 0.26 per cent Week-on-Week to close at what it was yesterday.
{alcircleadd}The 3-month bid price decreased by US$29 per tonne or 1.31 per cent to close at US$2,186 per tonne, and the 3-month offer price stood at US$2,186.50 per tonne, with a drop of US$29.50 per tonne or 1.33 per cent.
December 24 bid price and December 24 offer price both shed US$25 per tonne or 1.05 per cent to officially settle at US$2,350 per tonne and US$2,355 per tonne, respectively.
LME aluminium opening stock dived by 0.6 per cent or 3,100 tonnes, officially closing at 514,300 tonnes from 517,400 tonnes recorded the previous day.
Live warrants marked 276,425 tonnes, dropping 3,050 tonnes or 1.09 per cent. Cancelled warrants stood at 237,875 tonnes, going down by 50 tonnes or 0.02 per cent.
The 3-month Asian Reference Price closed at US$2,195.89 per tonne, shallowing down by US$58.06 per tonne or 2.57 per cent.
SHFE aluminium price
Today, on July 20, Thursday, the SHFE aluminium spot price has clocked at US$2,551 per tonne, with a US$23 per tonne or 0.91 per cent hike.
On July 13, the SHFE aluminium spot price was US$2,577 per tonne, which went down the aluminium price index by US$49 per tonne or 1.9 per cent Week-on-Week to halt at what it is today.
