
LME aluminium opened at US$2,438 per tonne on Tuesday, with its high and low at US$2,478 per tonne and US$2,422 per tonne, respectively, before closing at US$2,435 per tonne, a drop of US$17.5 per tonne or 0.71 per cent.

On Tuesday, November 15, both LME aluminium cash bid price and LME aluminium official settlement price hiked by US$17.5 per tonne or 0.73 per cent and US$18 per tonne or 0.75 per cent to settle at US$2,409 per tonne and US$2,410 per tonne.
3-month bid price and 3-month offer price expanded by US$27 per tonne or 1.11 per cent to halt at US$2,443 per tonne and US$2,445 per tonne.
December 23 bid price and December 23 offer price gained US$36 per tonne to rest at US$2,518 per tonne and US$2,523 per tonne.
LME aluminium opening stock came in at 538825 tonnes. Live warrants and Cancelled warrants settled at 317375 tonnes and 221450 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price increased by US$21.86 per tonne or 0.90 per cent to clock at US$2,445.86 per tonne.
SHFE aluminium price
Today, on November 16, the SHFE benchmark aluminium price has decreased by US$6 per tonne or 0.22 per cent to rest at US$2,662 per tonne.
The most-traded SHFE 2212 aluminium closed up 0.13 per cent or RMB 25 per tonne at RMB 18,925 per tonne, with open interest down 680 to 180,001 lots.
Overnight, the most-traded SHFE 2212 aluminium contract opened at RMB 18,850 per tonne, with its low and high at RMB 18,850 per tonne and RMB 19,085 per tonne before closing at RMB 18,900 per tonne, up RMB 70 per tonne or 0.37 per cent.
