Aluminium prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) registered significant growth in almost all areas. To begin with, LME aluminium cash bid price and LME aluminium official settlement price hiked by USD 34.5 per tonne or 1.34 per cent to settle at USD 2,591 per tonne and USD 2,591.50 per tonne.
As per the LME aluminium price graph, 3-month bid price and 3-month offer price also expanded by USD 34.5 per tonne or 1.34 per cent and USD 35 per tonne or 1.36 per cent to settle at USD 2,595 per tonne and USD 2,596 per tonne.
December 26 bid price and December 26 offer price also marked a hike of USD 37 per tonne or 1.42 per cent to arrive at USD 2,635 per tonne and USD 2,640 per tonne.
LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price surged by USD 51.5 per tonne or 1.99 per cent to clock at USD 2,629.50 per tonne.
LME aluminium opening stock came in at 430,700 tonnes after witnessing a growth of 3500 tonnes. Live warrants and Cancelled warrants closed at 423,000 tonnes and 7700 tonnes.
Alumina (Platts)
The alumina (Platts) price remained unchanged at USD 366.13 per tonne.
