
LME complex rose for the most part on Friday morning. Aluminium added 0.55%. Benchmark aluminium price on London Metal Exchange dropped 0.03 per cent to US$ 1904.5 per tonne on Thursday, November 12, from US$ 1905 per tonne on Wednesday.
As of Thursday November 12, LME aluminium cash (bid) price stands at US$ 1904.50 per tonne, LME official settlement price stands at US$ 1904.50 per tonne; 3-months bid price stands at US$ 1922.50 per tonne, 3-months offer price is US$ 1922.50 per tonne; Dec 21 bid price stands at US$ 1962.50 per tonne, and Dec 21 offer price stands at US$ 1962.50per tonne.
The LME aluminium opening stock stood at 1420100 tonnes. Live Warrants totalled 1252525 tonnes, and Cancelled Warrants were 167575 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-months Asian Reference Price is hovering at US$ 1924 per tonne.
SHFE Aluminium Price Trend
Benchmark aluminium price for SHFE increased to stand at US$ 2362 per tonne on Friday, 13 November 2020.
The most-traded SHFE 2012 aluminium contract hit its highest since June 2018, closing up 2.03% at RMB15,350 per tonne on Thursday, with open interest rising 2,468 lots to 158,000 lots. Shanghai base metals mostly advanced in overnight trading. Aluminium inched up 1.05%.
