
Nonferrous metals on the SHFE were mostly higher on Monday morning, and their counterparts on the LME also rose for the most part, as investors reacted to Democrat Joe Biden’s presidential election win, SMM reported. The LME aluminium added 0.45%.
As of Friday November 6, LME aluminium cash (bid) price stands at US$ 1891.50 per tonne, LME official settlement price stands at US$ 1891.50 per tonne; 3-months bid price stands at US$ 1904 per tonne, 3-months offer price is US$ 1904 per tonne; Dec 21 bid price stands at US$ 1948 per tonne, and Dec 21 offer price stands at US$ 1948 per tonne.
The LME aluminium opening stock stood at 1437675 tonnes. Live Warrants totalled 1220375 tonnes, and Cancelled Warrants were 217300 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-months Asian Reference Price is hovering at US$ 1895.50 per tonne.
SHFE Aluminium Price Trend
Benchmark aluminium price for SHFE increased to stand at US$ 2294 per tonne on Monday, 09 November 2020.
The most-traded SHFE 2012 aluminium contract closed 0.37% higher on the day at RMB14,845 per tonne on Friday. Pressure above will be seen from the RMB 15,000 per tonne mark tonight.
