On Monday, July 14, both LME aluminium cash bid price and LME aluminium official price opened the week with a fall of USD 5.5 per tonne or 0.21 per cent. The prices settled at USD 2,585.50 per tonne (cash bid) and USD 2,586 per tonne (official settlement), respectively.
As per the London Metal Exchange (LME) data, 3-month bid price and 3-month offer price dropped by USD 8 per tonne or 0.30 per cent to clock at USD 2,584.5 per tonne and USD 2,585 per tonne.
December 26 bid price and December 26 offer price closed at USD 2,618 per tonne and US$2,623 per tonne, after reflecting a drop of USD 9 per tonne or 0.34 per cent.
On the same day, LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price decreased by USD11 per tonne to arrive at USD 2,592 per tonne.
LME aluminium opening stock came in at 405550 tonnes. Live warrants and Cancelled warrants closed at 397325 tonnes and 8225 tonnes.
Alumina price
The alumina (Platts) closing price for Monday, July 14, settled at USD366.22 per tonne, after moving down by USD 1.21 per tonne or 0.32 per cent from the previous day.
