
On Tuesday, LME 3M aluminium opened at US$2,306.5 per tonne, hitting a high of US$2,340 per tonne and a low of US$2,290 per tonne, and closed at US$2,326 per tonne, up US$17 per tonne or 0.74 per cent.
{alcircleadd}On Tuesday, August 13, both LME aluminium cash bid price and LME aluminium official settlement price dropped by US$11 per tonne or 0.48 per cent and US$11.5 per tonne or 0.50 per cent to clock at US$2,256 per tonne and US$2,256.50 per tonne.
3-month bid price and 3-month offer price also lost US$12 per tonne or 0.51 per cent to reach US$2,308 per tonne and US$2,309 per tonne. December 25 bid price and December 25 offer price descended by US$12 per tonne or 0.48 per cent to dock at US$2,453 per tonne and US$2,458 per tonne.
LME aluminium opening stock came in at 899900 tonnes. Live warrants and Cancelled warrants stood at 354800 tonnes and 545100 tonnes. LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price dipped by US$16.52 per tonne or 0.71 per cent to stand at US$2,300.28 per tonne.
SHFE aluminium price
On Wednesday, August 14, the SHFE aluminium benchmark price moved down by US$3 per tonne to stand at US$2,650 per tonne. Overnight, the most-traded SHFE aluminium 2409 contract opened at RMB 19,040 per tonne, reaching a high of RMB 19,140 per tonne and a low of RMB 18,965 per tonne, and closed at RMB 19,085 per tonne, up RMB 5 per tonne or 0.03 per cent.
