Lazarian’s creation of giant aluminium polar bear

Lazarian has created a 2.5m high and 6m long aluminium giant polar bear in Manchester few weeks ago. The giant aluminium polar bear has been designed and created by the local design studio of Lazarian and commissioned by New Bailey.

The geometry of the polar bear with dots lights up in the evening creating constellation effect. This aluminium statue is the innovative creation for Christmas and will stand in the city throughout the festive season.

Manchester’s amazing polar bear is a beautiful, weather resistant, giant version of the endangered polar predator.

LED light placed around the bear is powered by solar energy. The components are housed inside blocks of aluminium ‘ice’ which permit the bear to light up automatically.
