Keselowski Advanced Manufacturing (KAM) has declared an alliance with Granges Powder Metallurgy, referred to in the USA as JD Technologies Global, LLC. This partnership will propel the conglomerates' prowess in the United States for precisely engineered additive manufacturing solutions made with DISPAL® (aluminium alloy) powder.

KAM's VP of Engineering and Sales, Jim O'Toole, cherished the collaborative efforts and lauded the agreement, pointing out the importance of DISPAL® (aluminium alloy) material for the additive manufacturing industry.
Granges has a superlative manufacturing knowledge of DISPAL® in various industrial aspects, with assorted usage in the United States and internationally. DISPAL® has more tenacity than aluminium as it is less erodible, extremely robust and strong. It can be applied in cases where aluminium cannot resist heat due to DISPAL®'s high temperature resisting potential and intense thermal shock mechanism. The aluminium alloy is low in density and weight, with a lesser chance of getting thermal expansions. DISPAL® is proven to be lighter than steel and has a lower price range than Titanium.
DISPAL® is used extensively in the military & defence, aerospace and satellite-making industries. It is critical in the production of high-precision components required in industrial automation consisting of pick and place, other Linear Technologies and specially crafted parts of laser systems, pumps, optical structures and hydraulics.
Jim O'Toole laid down a statement projecting the benefits of this partnership: "We're really excited to be able to work with GPM's DISPAL® material as it provides additional design freedom and light-weighting of parts while maintaining the strength needed for critical applications. This will be a win-win for our customers in the space and aerospace industries."
The Granges Sales Director / New Sales, Joakim Andersson, said in a statement: "We're thrilled to be partnered with KAM in the United States. Their team understands what our proven DISPAL® material offers, including enhanced performance and significant life cycle cost savings. This partnership allows us to offer DISPAL® when additive manufacturing is the optimum solution."
Both companies are eager to publish the ancillary reports and assessments of the new collaboration in the upcoming weeks.
