India’s Nalco sells 5,000 tonnes of aluminium at $230/t premium

India’s National Aluminium Co (Nalco) sold 5,000 tonnes of aluminium ingot at a premium of $230 per tonne over LME cash price on a Singapore cif basis, according to two trader sources familiar with the deal.
Nalco’s tender, that closed last week, was for delivery of 1,250 tonnes of aluminium per month from November to March, the sources said.
The company’s last tender, earlier in November, was for 6,000 tonnes of aluminium at a premium of $229 per tonne.
