India's NALCO sells 30,000 tonnes Alumina at $324/T

India's state-run National Aluminium Co Ltd (NALCO) sold 30,000 tonnes of alumina for about $324 a tonne free-on-board via a tender, a senior company official said on Thursday.
The alumina to be shipped next month was purchased by a Hong Kong-based trader, Ansuman Das, commercial director at NALCO, told Reuters.
NALCO, whose tenders serve as an international benchmark, last month sold 30,000 tonnes of alumina for about $318 a tonne free-on-board to a European trader. (Reporting by Jatindra Dash; Editing by Aradhana Aravindan)
