India remains top importer of alumina from China

<p>China is one of the world&rsquo;s top alumina producers and a leading supplier of alumina to the global primary aluminium industry. China has around 60 million tonnes of alumina capacity but produced around 47.3 million tonnes of the aluminium-making ingredient from January to October last year. The total value of aluminium export was USD&nbsp;194 million. The amount jumped up to <strong>395684</strong> tons in 2015 registering a slight growth. In 2015, alumina export delivered USD 233 million revenue to the exporters. China also exports a substantial amount of alumina to UAE. In 2015, UAE imported <strong>28253</strong> tons of alumina from China and in 2015 the country.
