
Hindalco Industries Limited has raised its aluminium products price by more than 1%. With effect from Tuesday, 11 May 2021, aluminium billets price stands at INR 224,100 per tonne, representing a growth of 1.24% or INR 2,750 per tonne from INR 221,350 per tonne on May 8.

Aluminium ingot and wire rods prices stand at INR 217,000 per tonne and INR 228,100 per tonne as of Tuesday, 11 May 2021. This is up by INR 2,750 per tonne from INR 214,250 per tonne and INR 225,350 per tonne on May 8.
The Indian aluminium producers generally link prices of its products to the three-month futures of aluminium on London Metal Exchange. The aluminium price on stood at US$ 2549.5 per tonne on May 11, a drop from US$ 2,565 per tonne on May 7.
Aluminium operations of the company, excluding those of its US arm Novelis Inc, generally account for nearly half of its total sales and 70% of its operating profit.
