
Hindalco Industries Limited has expanded its aluminium products and aluminium ingot prices for the third day in a row, with effect from Thursday, July 21. The company has increased its aluminium wire rod price by INR 4,000 per tonne to INR 239,850 per tonne as of July 21. On the previous day, the price stood at INR 235,850 per tonne, seeing a rise of INR 3,250 per tonne from INR 232,600 per tonne.

Hindalco’s aluminium billets price has also seen a rise of INR 4,000 per tonne on July 21 to INR 242,850 per tonne, following an increase of INR 3,250 per tonne on the previous day to INR 238,850 per tonne.
Aluminium ingot price has also been heightened by INR 4,000 per tonne on Thursday from INR 224,750 per tonne to INR 228,750 per tonne.
Hindalco Industries links its aluminium ingot and aluminium products prices to the three-month futures of aluminium on the London Metal Exchange, which hiked by US$79 per tonne over the past two days during July 19-20 to rest at US$2,456.50 per tonne.
Aluminium operations of the company, excluding those of its US arm Novelis Inc., generally account for nearly half of its total sales and 70% of its operating profit.
