Henan hosts advanced aluminium-based materials industry chain promotion meeting

On May 23, a collaborative conference was held in Zhengzhou, focusing on Henan's advanced aluminium-based material industry chain scheduling and promotion. The meeting underscored the significance of advanced aluminium-based materials as a vital element of new materials for strategic emerging industries. It was reiterated that understanding the current development landscape necessitates seizing policy opportunities and maintaining confidence in growth, a task that requires the collective effort of all stakeholders.

About the meeting

Efforts should be concentrated on enhancing upstream processes, stabilising midstream activities, and expanding downstream operations, with a long-term goal firmly in sight.

Participation in the conference

The conference took place in Zhengzhou, where Secretary of the Party Group, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, and leader of the industrial chain for advanced aluminium-based materials, presided and delivered a speech.  The Financial Office of the Provincial Party Committee provided a report on the progress of relevant work.

Additionally, representatives from the provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the Provincial Department of Science and Technology, the Provincial Non-Ferrous Metal Industry Association, along with officials from relevant provincial cities, key enterprises, and research institutes, participated in exchanges and delivered speeches.
