Heesen Yachts, in collaboration with Arcon Yachts, which introduced the client, has reportedly sold its 50-metres superyacht Project Aster.

Project Aster, also known as Hull YN18750 is the seventh iteration of the Heesen 5000 Aluminium class, designed by Frank Laupman of Omega Architects.
It is the third yacht sold by the company this year, adding up to a total of 190 linear metres and 3,259GT.
“The whole concept started in about 2011 with the delivery of Satori [now Septimus],” said Cavendish of the class. “She was the first one and she won multiple awards, so that kicked off the whole thing for a very good start, and since then we’ve consistently delivered one a year on average.”
The boat features six staterooms including a main deck master suite and five lower deck cabins and has accommodation capacity for up to 12 people. Meanwhile, the crew quarters will be suitable for a staff of up to nine people.
The design of Aster showcases the creative fruits of Cristiano’s five-year collaboration with Heesen. Her interior design emphasises ornate craftsmanship, such as high gloss lacquered woods with complicated inserts in leather, metal, upholstery, and wood.
Power of the vessel will come from a pair of MTU 16V4000 diesel engines for a top speed of 23 knots and a cruising range of 3,100 nautical miles at 11 knots.
Other superyacht projects currently under development at the Dutch yard include the 49.8 metre Project Boreas and the 56-metres Project Neptune, both of which will expectedly complete next year.
