On 21st June 2022, the aluminium rolled product manufacturer Gränges rolls out its product brand for sustainable and circular solutions, Gränges Endure. The brand allows customers to select sustainable aluminium products and solutions of the highest quality with the least impact on the environment. The materials used in Gränges Endure products are low-carbon and recycled.
Sofia Hedevåg, the SVP Sustainability at Gränges, said, “We are very proud to announce Gränges Endure, our new sustainable product brand. The brand will help our customers decarbonize their products and meet the demands of climate-conscious end-users. By choosing Gränges Endure, our customers help us make the aluminium industry and society at large more sustainable.”
According to third-party verification, Gränges Endure products have a carbon footprint of at most 4.0 tonnes CO2e/tonne from the extraction of bauxite to the delivery of Gränges' products to customers (cradle-to-gate). In addition, third parties verify the products' responsibility in sourcing and production.
For decades, Gränges has been a leader in innovative aluminium solutions. The company's sustainability performance as of 21st June is industry-leading. For instance, EcoVadis, the largest independent provider of sustainability ratings, has awarded Gränges a Platinum rating, placing it in the top 1% of companies rated globally in the industry.
In order to fulfil the company's strategic objective, Gränges offers customers products and solutions with a low climate impact, are circular and resource-efficient, and are produced and sourced responsibly. Granges Endure allows customers to choose sustainable products of the highest quality with the lowest impact on the environment.
