Bill Lee, the Governor of Tennessee, Stuart C. McWhorter, the deputy governor and commissioner of the Department of Economic and Community Development, and representatives of ALUKO Group announced today that the South-Korean firm has chosen Halls, Tennessee, for its second US manufacturing facility.

ALUKO Group will invest USD 107.7 million to retrofit the former Tupperware building in Halls, Lauderdale County. The project will create 285 new jobs. The facility will house integrated aluminium manufacturing operations to support industries like electric vehicles (EV), solar energy, construction and building markets.
The Halls project follows ALUKO Group’s first US site announcement in Jackson, Tennessee, made in December 2024. Together, the two locations signal a long-term commitment to domestic production and shorter supply chains.

Deputy Gov. Stuart C. It’s an honor to take part in announcing additional jobs and investment in Halls today, and I believe Tennessee’s skilled workforce and rich manufacturing background will prove to be the ideal location for all of the ALUKO Group’s U.S. manufacturing.”
Lauderdale County Mayor Maurice Gaines Jr. said, “ALUKO Group’s decision to locate in Lauderdale County is a tremendous win for our community. This project will bring new opportunities for our residents, strengthen our workforce and support growth across the entire county. We are grateful for the partners who helped make this possible and look forward to the positive impact ALUKO Group will have on Lauderdale County for years to come.”
