Global liquefied natural gas exports and imports both climbed year-on-year in June 2025, yet the increase in exports decelerated, with the US still leading and the Middle East continuing expansion in exports.

In June 2025, global LNG exports reached approximately 33,185,100 tonnes, marking a year-on-year increase of 0.30 per cent. Exports continued to rise, yet the growth rate slowed down.
