European aluminium foil manufacturer acquires South Korean distributor

<p>i2r Packaging Solutions, a leading European manufacturer of aluminium foil containers, has announced that the company has acquired its former South Korean distributor. However, the company has not provided any details on acquisition cost.</p>

<p>Peter Reay, i2r’s CEO said: “We believe this is a great opportunity to join forces with an entrepreneurial led Asian business and provides the Group with new exciting market opportunities, whilst further strengthening the vertical integration of its European parent.”</p>
<p> “We look forward to further investing in this geographic region in the future and enhancing the Group’s operations. As a leader in our field, we felt that it was time to update our brand to reflect the company we have become,” he added.</p>

<p>The company has unveiled the results of a brand makeover at Packaging Innovations at the NEC on 1-2 March 2017. The new look, including a new logo, website and associated collateral, is currently being rolled out. </p>
