Europe metal premiums steady in summer lull

In the United States, tin premiums have risen steadily as dealer’s price in prospects of tighter supplies and healthier demand in the second half of the year. Premiums for physical zinc were quoted pretty much unchanged at around USD 130 per tonne to USD 145 per tonne. Premiums for duty paid physical aluminum were unchanged at USD 205 per tonne to USD 235 per tonne over LME cash prices. Premiums for duty unpaid material was quoted at USD 140 per tonne to USD 160 per tonne.
