Energy solutions provider Apraava bags a 300 MW wind energy project in Karnataka

Apraava Energy, a well-known integrated energy solutions provider, has recently talked about its final acquisition of a 300 MW wind energy project in Aski, Karnataka. The project is a part of the 1,200 MW auction capacity of Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS)-connected wind power projects (Tranche-XIV) from the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI).

This significant development is expected to contribute significantly to the clean energy sector in the region and further boost the country's efforts towards achieving sustainable energy goals. The project is also likely to yield infinite job opportunities and bring positive economic impacts to the surrounding communities.

Analogy of Apraava's latest energy project 

Apraava Energy has announced that the construction of this new wind farm project will be completed within the agreed timelines as per the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). The project is expected to last for 25 years and will provide electricity at a very competitive tariff of INR 3.24/kWh.

The company's course of action 

The company will be responsible for acquiring the land, developing the wind farm, and establishing the grid infrastructure up to the metering point at the ISTS grid substation. With an already impressive Renewable Energy portfolio of 1,176 MW spread across various states in India, including Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Telangana and Karnataka, Apraava Energy is committed to providing sustainable energy solutions to meet the growing energy demands of the country.

The Managing Director of Apraava Energy, Rajiv Ranjan Mishra, pointed out: "This is our third wind project in the state of Karnataka, which offers tremendous opportunities for RE growth. With the rich experience of being early adopters of wind power generation in the country, coupled with the expertise of working with marquee O&M partners, we aim to build the project with the highest operational standards."
