CMI told aluminium can sheets are not a security risk that requires government intervention. CMI is the national trade association of the metal can manufacture industry in the United States. The can industry accounts for the annual domestic production of approximately 124 billion. Aluminium butterfly valves will be used on electrical power transformers. Paltech manufactures high-performance butterfly valves in Southern Africa. Ann Arbor's City Council has recently approved the next public art installation along Stadium Boulevard later this year. The installation will create "Leaven," a $100,000 piece of public art made out of aluminium plates, as part of the Stadium Boulevard reconstruction project. The art piece will be created by Brian Brush; a New York-based artist from Brush Design LLC.
