JDE Peet’s has planned to expand production capacity of aluminium coffee capsule to meet the increased consumer demand. The company will install new high-speed aluminium coffee capsule production lines with an investment of EUR 110 million. On 13 th October’20, Hitachi has delivered the first of 17 train-sets for the metro line under construction in Ho Chi Minh City. Line 1 will run for 19·7 km between Ben Thanh Market in the central District 1 and Suoi Tien Theme Park in District 9 to the northeast, with 17·1 km of the route being elevated and 2·6 km underground. Virtus Industries has acquired Canada-based brass and aluminium tube maker Arzon Ltd. The purchase is aided by a direct investment by global alternative investment manager Ares Management Corp. Irish Water, a water utility company in Ireland, has reportedly spent €160,000 on providing water in Achill Island as aluminium levels in the water there surged five times than the recommended levels. Records released by the water utility explained how at one stage aluminium levels in the drinking water rose above 1,000 micrograms per litre when the recommended safe amount is 200 micrograms (max.).
