China’s auto sales registered growth for a seventh month in a row. Sales came in at 2.57 million vehicles in October, according to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).This marked an increase of 12.5% from the same month a year earlier as the country recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic. In the first ten months of this year, total sales decreased by 4.7% to 19.69 million units due to coronavirus. Sales of passenger car stood at 2.11 million units in October, registering a hike of 9.3% from the same month last year. Commercial vehicle sales came in at 464,000 units. That was up 30.1% year on year. Sales of electric vehicles climbed by 115.4% year on year to 133,000 units last month. Plug-in hybrids stood at 27,000 units, up 63.7%.
