Future of Aluminium in Transportation Sector

Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) recently announced signing a significant framework agreement with Siemens Mobility, valued at more than five billion euros. The deal entails the delivery of up to 540 single-deck electric multiple-unit aluminium trains, which are expected to enter service in 2028.
