Since the government will invest more in the whole power grid in the 12th Five-Year Plan period, the annual growth rate for the demand of aluminum will between 6% to 7% in the following 5 years. It is estimated that from 2011 to 2015 the annual increment for the demand of aluminum were about 140-200 thousand tons in electric cable industry.
