The stock was 14.08 per cent below its 52-week high of EGP 395.00 (USD 7.54) and 107.53 per cent above its 52-week low of EGP 163.66 (USD 3.12).

The October 7 movement came after Egypt Aluminum reported its fiscal 2026 results on September 20, providing the market with a view of the company’s profitability for the year ended June 30.

Egypt Aluminum profit growth outpaces revenue

Egypt Aluminum reported fiscal 2026 revenue of EGP 53.14 billion (USD 1.01 billion), compared with EGP 43.18 billion (USD 824.2 million) a year earlier. Revenue increased 23.05 per cent year on year.

Net income climbed 52.09 per cent to EGP 15.49 billion (USD 295.7 million), from EGP 10.19 billion (USD 194.5 million) in fiscal 2025. The faster increase in net income compared with revenue highlights stronger earnings conversion during the year.

As the company moves through the new financial year, margins and aluminium market conditions will remain important factors in assessing whether the stronger profitability recorded in fiscal 2026 can be sustained.

AGM sets next Egypt Aluminum corporate checkpoint
