Dudley's Aluminium, a Cardiff-based aluminium fabricator, will assist in the construction of Aston Martin's new Formula 1 (F1) facility at Silverstone. The Aston Martin team's design, manufacturing, and marketing resources, its first-ever wind tunnel, and a simulator will be housed in the 400,000-square-foot complex.

In Formula 1, wind tunnels are utilised during the car's construction to evaluate the effectiveness of various components and obtain the ideal aerodynamic balance. Kawneer doors and capped curtain walling will be installed on the building by Dudley's Aluminium in collaboration with SDC Builders Ltd.
"We are delighted to be working with SDC Builders Ltd on this project at the home of British motor racing. The facility will support Aston Martin's growth and ambitions within Formula 1 which is very exciting,” said Colin Shorney, managing director of Dudley’s Aluminium.
