Ford has produced more than 5,000 large aluminium unicastings at its Shelbyville Technical Center as it advances manufacturing preparations for the Fathom midsize electric truck, scheduled to launch in 2027. Germany’s exports of aluminium semi-finished products (plates, sheets, bars, etc.) to the US came in at 3,370 tonnes in May 2020, with a year-on-year decrease of 70%.Germany had exported 11,200 tonnes in May 2019, according to the latest Mineral Industry Survey report from the US Geological Survey.
