As per the report on Monday, March 18, Hydro Extrusions inked a deal to offload its fabrication unit in Kaunas, Lithuania, to VE Invest UAB. The Kaunas plant, a fabrication unit for Hydro's extrusion facilities in Sweden and Denmark, boasts around 170 employees. Capral Aluminium, Australia's leading manufacturer and distributor of aluminium extrusions, has revealed a strategic acquisition to strengthen its market position. Under the guidance of CEO Tony Dragicevich, the company has purchased Aluminium Trade Centre (ATC), a renowned aluminium sales and distribution business in Victoria.

According to the State Statistics Committee, in 2022, Azerbaijan exported 5,102 tonnes of aluminium to Japan for a total value of $12.73 million.
