The post-pandemic era has seen a sudden surge in the work-from-home culture, and to suffice the rising demands for fast-performing PCs, Dell has come up with its sustainable variant, the Latitude series. These models have been made while keeping the recyclability factor in mind.
Moreover, the Latitude 9440 is being hailed as the topmost model, which consists of recycled materials and aluminium to keep the model's sustainability intact. Other models like the Latitude 5340, 5440 and 5540 can be categorised as business laptops with internally embedded Intel's Raptor Lake processors.
Dell Latitude range can be soon availed via the company's leading distributor, Pinnacle. The devices offer optional features such as a headset jack, uSIM card tray, Contacted SmartCard reader, and a touch fingerprint reader in the power button. Additionally, the bigger 5540 model can be configured with a touch FIPS fingerprint reader in the palm rest and includes a USD 4.0 card reader.
Dell claims these new models are based on the company's bestselling XPS Series, though people in business can use the latest version effortlessly. The Latitude 9440 has a sleek but uniform design, all attributed to the use of aluminium. Aluminium gives the laptop an outer shine despite the amalgamation of the graphite colour on the outer cover.
Dell Latitude 9440 also displays the company's first "haptic collaboration" touchpad that consists of in-built virtual buttons for camera or microphone buttons, reboot and shut down modes. Overall, this can be considered as an ultra-modern device that is being envisioned by Dell, which also keeps the global sustainability goals in purview.
