Constellium has named Ingrid Joerg, its current Chief Operating Officer (COO), as the company’s next Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective January 1, 2026. She will also take a seat on the company’s Board of Directors. Joerg will succeed Jean-Marc Germain, who plans to retire at the end of 2025 after nearly a decade at the helm.

The leadership change follows a carefully planned succession process aimed at maintaining continuity and supporting Constellium’s long-term strategy. After stepping down, Germain will stay on through 2026 as a Special Advisor to the Board and management team, helping guide the transition.
Joerg has been with Constellium since 2015, when she joined as President of the Aerospace and Transportation business unit. In 2023, she was promoted to COO, taking responsibility for all business units.
With more than 25 years of experience in the aluminium sector, Joerg has played a central role in steering the company’s strategic direction, improving operational performance, and advancing its long-term growth plans.
Jean-Marc Germain commented, “It has been an extraordinary honour to lead Constellium, to have the steadfast support of a strong management team and of the Board, and to collaborate with such talented colleagues around the world. Together, we have built a stronger company, and I am deeply proud of what we have accomplished. Ingrid is an exceptional leader with the vision and experience to guide Constellium forward, and I am confident she will take the company to even greater heights.”
