Some designs highlight widely recognised themes. California shows a surfer, Wisconsin features cheese, North Dakota includes the prairie rose, and Minnesota displays the eight-pointed star from its state flag. The aim is to reflect regional identity through simple visual elements.

The campaign is part of Coca-Cola’s partnership with the America250 programme. Alongside the product launch, the company has introduced a sweepstakes. Consumers can scan marked packaging or cups to enter. Prizes include a vehicle and collectable pins based on the can designs. Entries can also be submitted online without purchase.
The designs are available only on 7.5-ounce mini aluminium cans of Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, and Coca-Cola Zero Sugar. Standard 12-ounce cans are not part of the campaign.
