As new aluminium projects in Yunnan will continue to release output, SMM expects China’s primary aluminium production to stand at 3.02 million tonnes in February. Import is expected to be at about 80,000 tonnes as demand is likely to be slow in the same month due to the Chinese New Year holiday.
