China’s aluminium price edges lower by RMB 320/t; Aluminium alloy (A356) reduces to RMB 17900/t

SMM aluminium ingot price stood at RMB 17220 per tonne on Tuesday, 23 March 2021, indicating a decline of RMB 320 per tonne from Monday’s price of RMB 17540 per tonne. It is expected to move within a range of RMB 17200-17240 per tonne.

Aluminium price in Foshan and Wuxi declined by RMB 310 per tonne and RMB 355 per tonne to stand at RMB 17230 per tonne and RMB 17185 per tonne on Tuesday, 23 March 2021. Their average prices are expected to range within RMB 17210-17250 per tonne and RMB 17150-17220 per tonne. Aluminium prices in Hangzhou and Chongqing were RMB 17185 per tonne and 17175 per tonne, down RMB 400 per tonne and RMB 375 per tonne.

Aluminium ingot prices in Shenyang, Tianjin, Linyi, and Gongyi reduced to stand at RMB 17200 per tonne, RMB 17210 per tonne, RMB 17230 per tonne, and RMB 17070 per tonne.

The aluminium alloy (ADC12) price declined by RMB 100 per tonne to RMB 18000 per tonne on Tuesday, 23 March 2021. The price is expected to range at RMB 17900 per tonne-18100 per tonne. The prices of aluminium alloys in East, South and Southwest stood at RMB 18000 per tonne, RMB 17900 per tonne and RMB 17850 per tonne, marking a drop of RMB 100 per tonne each.

The Aluminium alloy (A380) and Aluminium alloy (A356) was down by RMB 100 per tonne and RMB 350 per tonne to RMB 19000 per tonne and RMB 17900 per tonne on Tuesday, 23 March 2021.
