China’s aluminium ingot price slips by RMB 150/t; expected to range at RMB 14880-14920/t

SMM aluminium ingot price registers a drop for the third day in a row. The price stands at RMB 14900 per tonne on Wednesday, 13 January 2021, a decrease of RMB 150 per tonne from Tuesday’s price of RMB 15050 per tonne. The price and is expected to move within a range of RMB 14880-14920 per tonne.

In Foshan and Wuxi, the price has inched down by RMB 230 per tonne and RMB 160 per tonne to stand at RMB 14820 per tonne and RMB 14840 per tonne. Aluminium prices in Hangzhou and Chongqing have come in at RMB 14855 per tonne and 14830 per tonne, down RMB 155 per tonne and RMB 190 per tonne.

Aluminium ingot prices in Shenyang, Tianjin, Linyi, and Gongyi have declined to stand at RMB 14860 per tonne, RMB 14870 per tonne, RMB 14930 per tonne, and RMB 14780 per tonne.

The aluminium alloy (ADC12) price stands at RMB 16750 per tonne on Wednesday, 13 January 2021, a decrease of RMB 50 per tonne. The price is expected to range at RMB 16650 per tonne-16850 per tonne. The prices of aluminium alloy (ADC12) – East, South and Southwest have dropped by RMB 50 per tonne each to stand at RMB 16750 per tonne, RMB 16600 per tonne and RMB 16600 per tonne.

The prices of Aluminium Alloy (A356) and Aluminium Alloy (A380) have reduced by RMB 150 per tonne and RMB 100 per tonne to stand at RMB15600 per tonne and RMB17700 per tonne as on January 13.
