China’s alumina price falls 0.60%; A00 aluminium price extends growth by RMB110/t

The spot alumina prices in China have dropped today across all markets. The average spot alumina price stands at RMB 2503 per tonne on Thursday, 21 November 2019, from last closed RMB 2518 per tonne on 20 November. This records a drop of RMB 15 per tonne or 0.60 per cent.

The average prices of Alumina-East and Alumina-Central have fallen by RMB 20 per tonne each to stand at RMB 2520 per tonne each; Alumina-North is down by RMB 10 per tonne to RMB 2500 per tonne; Alumina-South remains unchanged at RMB 2520 per tonne as on November 21.

Alumina (Imported) price is down by RMB 30 per tonne to RMB 2560 per tonne. The average price is expected to range within RMB 2540-2580 per tonne.

A00 aluminium ingot price has extended its growth by RMB 110 per tonne or 0.79 per cent to RMB 14090 per tonne on Thursday, 21 November 2019. The price is expected to range within RMB 14070-14110 per tonne. Spot aluminium price is likely to be traded at a premium of RMB 80-120 per tonne.

Gongyi has witnessed the highest increase in aluminium ingot price. The price in Gongyi stands at RMB 14075 per tonne, down by RMB 150 per tonne from its previous price.

In Foshan, Wuxi and Hangzhou, aluminium ingot prices have climbed by RMB 120 per tonne, 90 per tonne and RMB 105 per tonne to stand at RMB 14040 per tonne, RMB 14060 per tonne and RMB 14120 per tonne. Chongqing aluminium price is up by RMB 120 per tonne to RMB 14070 per tonne. Aluminium ingot prices in Shenyang, Tianjin, and Linyi stand at RMB 14065 per tonne, RMB 14060 per tonne, and RMB 14160 per tonne, up RMB 105 per tonne, RMB 120 per tonne and RMB 130 per tonne.

Aluminium alloy (ADC12) price has increased by RMB 50 per tonne to RMB 14650 per tonne today. The price is expected to range at RMB 14550 per tonne-14750 per tonne. The prices of aluminium alloy in East and West stand at RMB 14650 per tonne and RMB 14350 per tonne, up RMB50 per tonne each.

The Aluminium alloy (A380) and Aluminium alloy (A356) prices have climbed by RMB 50 per tonne and RMB 100 per tonne to RMB 15550 per tonne and RMB 14800 per tonne on Thursday. Their prices are expected to range at RMB 15450-15650 per tonne and RMB 14750-14850 per tonne.
