
Alumina price in China declined for the fifth straight day on Monday. The average spot alumina price fell by RMB 5 per tonne or 0.20 per cent to stand at RMB 2484 per tonne on Monday, 25 November 2019. The spot alumina prices in China dropped across all markets.

The average prices of Alumina-East and Alumina-Central were down by RMB 5 per tonne each to stand at RMB 2495 per tonne each; Alumina-North reduced by RMB 5 per tonne to RMB 2485 per tonne; Alumina-South remained unchanged at RMB 2520 per tonne as on November 25.
A00 aluminium ingot prices inched higher after a drop on Friday. Aluminium price increased to RMB 14060 per tonne on November 25 from its previous price of RMB 14050 per tonne on November 22. This marked an increase of RMB 10 per tonne or 0.07 per cent. The price is expected to range within RMB 14040-14080 per tonne. Spot aluminium price is likely to be traded at a premium of RMB 70-110 per tonne.

Aluminium ingot price in Wuxi rose by RMB 25 per tonne to RMB 14050 per tonne on Monday. The prices in Chongqing, Shenyang, and Tianjin were up by RMB 20 per tonne, RMB 30 per tonne and RMB 40 per tonne to stand at RMB 14040 per tonne, RMB 14035 per tonne, and RMB 14040 per tonne. Aluminium ingot prices in Foshan remained unchanged at RMB 14000 per tonne.
In Linyi and Gongyi, the prices stood at RMB 14130 per tonne and RMB 14040 per tonne, an increase of RMB 30 per tonne and RMB 10 per tonne from RMB 14110 per tonne and RMB 14030 per tonne. Hangzhou price was down by RMB 10 per tonne to RMB 14050 per tonne.
